Main House: Design: The first level has over 3600'! Most of the house has 13' coffered ceilings and nearly all doors are 8' - 10' tall. All bedroom are suites with private baths and large closets with built-in vanities and/or shelves. There are 17 French-doors with outdoor access from all rooms except one bedroom. The entire rear of the house is floor to ceiling wall-to-wall glass with unobstructed views and sun blinds overlooking the deck, pool, fountains and pond. The home's sun orientation and roof overhangs are designed to cool and shade in summer and warm in winter. During the day, the home is entirely naturally brightly lit without need of any lights. The garage is finished like a room with access to the front and side yards. From the garage, you enter an efficiency room adjoining the kitchen which can double as a party prep area with ample work surface, sink and pantry and laundry room. Kitchen cabinets are double stacked affording twice the usual cabinet space, along with a separate walk-in pantry. The rotunda medallion, floors, and masterbath were designed by the Peninsula Hotel designer. The master-bath vanities, sinks, spa, and floor design have total symmetry and harmony. There is symmetry and balance throughout all rooms, the front and back of the house. The design and materials were selected for ease of living and longevity without any foreseeable need for upgrading or remodeling ever. There is total privacy front and rear. The house flows with energy, light, and water, and is even adaptable to the mobility impaired.
